With the help of File Undelete, a user friendly data recovery tool, you will be able to bring back the files you delete by accident, or the files that someone else deletes, or the files that you loose due to a crash or a virus infection. The File Undelete application will scan your system, uncover recoverable files, then recover them for you.

You can install File Undelete on a PC powered by Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003. To install the data recovery tool, you need to download a 942KB executable and run it. You will be presented with a setup wizard; click through the on-screen instructions and you will be done with the installation process in very little time.

In the upper left hand side on its interface, File Undelete presents all your drives; at the top there are buttons for launching a Quick or a Full Scan. After the scan completes, on its interface, the application will also display info on the data it detects. The layout of the interface is so simple that even as a novice, you won’t have any difficulty getting accustomed to File Undelete’s interface.

As mentioned above, you can run a Quick and a Full Scan. Please note that a Full Scan will take longer to complete; on the upside, it will uncover more than a Quick Scan. A list of recoverable files and folders will be displayed once the scan completes; simply select what you want to recover, then hit the appropriately named Recover button. Please note that it is not advisable to recover data from a drive onto the same drive; you can do it, but it is advisable not to.

File Undelete is not free, it is only free to try. The trial version will not recover files larger than 64KB.

Easily bring back photos, music tracks, videos, documents, or any other file type with the File Undelete application.

Pros

It will take little time to install File Undelete on a Windows PC. Choose between a Quick and a Full Scan. There’s a search feature to help you locate the file you want to recover.

Cons

The trial will not recover files larger than 64KB.
